Nanowrimo 2009 Assistance Needed

In just under a month, I will begin working on my next Nanowrimo novel.

And most of you think I’m imaginative and creative–which I am–but I always seem to get stuck on little things.

So I need your help.

I need suggestions for:

1) character names–both male and female, first and last names.

2) names of restaurants, stores, and companies

3) anything else you think is worthy to be put into one of my novels.

I’m kind of thinking my novel will be about a guy who has lost everything–relationship, job, friends, self-esteem, matching socks–and then finds himself through a series of adventures that will make all of us laugh, cry, and cheer.

Thank you in advance.

    Oooh, it’s like playing MadLibs!
Character names: Gloria Savage, Anna Lane, Richard Holloway (he can be a real Dick), Tony Magarey, Beau Abbot, Cameron Hall, Aaron Hamilton, Finley Rourke-OK I cheated & used http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/ to come up with some of the combinations.
Restaurant names: Big Daddy’s Rib Shack, Valencio’s Italian, The Paramount, McAllister’s, The Wine & Dine
And I think your character should have a blog (you could even make a real blog under his name and fill it in with various events of his daily life).
Have you ever read this: http://www.amyzoemason.com/
It’s supposedly a diary left in a desk, but that was just the idea behind the book. I thought it was very clever of the authors to create even a MySpace page for the main character’s fictious daughter. Epople everywhere thought this was real. If I hadn’t red the backstory on the web first I would have assumed the book was non-fiction.
    Good luck with ideas!
