And The Beat Goes On

After visiting the doctor last week to do an EKG, he set up appointments for me at the hospital for a stress test and an echocardiogram for good measure.  Those were this morning.

Arrive 6:45.  Don’t get to actually sign in until 7:30 while the woman doing the processing had another woman looking over her shoulder who didn’t say anything.  Weird.
Then upstairs in another building to do the stress test.  A) I now have some shaved spots on my chest (yeah, pool party season and no shirts is fact approaching)   B) the cardiologist, nurse practitioner, and two nurses were awed that I was the first person to actually reach 100% of the heart rate goal  C) now I know what that gel feels like that they use for ultrasounds (they’re not just for pregnancies) and having that wand thing pressed all over my chest.
Things look fine.  Get the official results later this week.
