A Room With a View

I’ve recently started working on a writing project.  A novel/short story/who knows that opens with a car accident on the I-10 freeway in Phoenix.  A more specific location is the Broadway Curve westbound just after the U.S. 60 merges on.

Today, driving home from my summer job I was in that exact location when a few car lengths ahead that was pulling a trailer blew a tire (I’ve never seen that before).  Maybe because I was writing about it just last night, I recognized instantly that there was danger and slowed immediately without panic, ready for whatever may happen with the cars ahead.  Fortunately the car with the trailer was able to pull over across three lanes of traffic and no other problems were created. 

I guess I have some real life details to add to what I wrote in my story, but I would rather keep most things in the imaginary!
